Flight Plans
⚠ Work in progress. This manual is still being written — some
sections may be incomplete or change as the app evolves.
The app's home screen: a list of all the flight plans you've saved, each with its current status. From here you start a new plan or open an existing one to view, submit, or close it.
How to get here: it's the Home → Flight Plans screen — the first thing you see after signing in.

What's on the screen
- Help (?) icon. In the top bar; shows or hides a short on-screen reminder of what this screen does.
- Empty state. When you have no plans yet, the screen reads “No flight plans yet. Tap + to create one.”
- Plan cards. Each saved plan appears as a card showing its route (departure → destination), an “Updated …” line telling you when it last changed, and a coloured status badge. Tap a card to open its detail page.
- + button. The round button in the bottom-right corner. It creates a new draft plan (pre-filled with the current date/time and your active aircraft's cruise speed) and opens the flight plan form.
Status badges
The badge on each card tells you where the plan is in its life cycle:
- Draft — created but not yet filed; you can still edit it.
- Submitted — filed with ROMATSA.
- Landed — you've sent a landing confirmation.
- Cancelled — the filed plan was cancelled.
