Ro Flight — User Manual
⚠ Work in progress. This manual is still being written — some
sections may be incomplete or change as the app evolves.
Ro Flight is a flight-planning and monitoring app for VFR pilots. It lets you plan a route, store your pilot and aircraft details, file it with a Romanian flight authority — an ICAO flight plan with ROMATSA, or a VFR notification with AACR (vfr.caa.ro) for a flight entirely in Class G — fly it on a moving map, and confirm your landing, all from your phone. This manual walks through each screen in the app and explains every functionality available.

creating an account all the way to filing a flight plan and confirming the landing,
step by step. If you'd rather watch, the full video tutorial

How it all fits together
A typical end-to-end flow looks like this:
- Create your account on this website, then sign in in the app.
- Fill in your Pilot Profile and run Test Login once for each authority you intend to file with — ROMATSA, AACR, or both.
- Set up an Aircraft Profile so the app knows what you're flying.
- Create a plan from the Flight Plans list and fill in the Flight Plan Form.
- Submit the plan and pick the authority to file it with.
- Open Go Fly to follow the flight on the moving map — it warns you if your track would take you into an active airspace.
- After you land, open the plan and Inform Landing — or Cancel the plan if the flight doesn't happen. Either way it goes back to the authority you filed with.
The Getting Started walkthrough shows this whole flow with a concrete example flight.
